As if spending time taking and processing fine art images wasn’t enough, I go and get interested in Time Lapse Photography! Yep, for some reason (ADD?) I was recently distracted by the idea of making time lapse videos. I have always been intrigued by time lapses shared on the internet but never really made an effort to learn how they are done, that is until this weekednd! Here as two of my first videos.
The first is a simple time lapse, 15-20 minutes reduced to 30 seconds, of the Natchez Trace Parkway Bridge.
The second is a more complicated type of sequence, one that ranges from day to night. I started shooting as fans were arriving at the Titan’s stadium for yesterday’s game and continued shooting into the second half. At the end of the video, I was able to capture a barge heading down the river and the fireworks when the Titans scored.
Let me know what you think of them? Would you like to see more?
